Previously, requests for hydro locates were made directly through Halton Hills Hydro, separate from other requests for water and sewer locates, gas pipeline locates, and telephone line locates who are already part of Ontario One Call. Now as of Jan. 3, 2012, you must call Ontario One Call, who will forward your request to Halton Hills Hydro, as well as to its other member utilities.

"Ontario One Call Ltd." or "ON1Call", is a Not-For-Profit corporation formed in 1996 to establish a call centre to receive excavator locate requests within the Province of Ontario and to notify the members with underground facilities in the vicinity of the dig site.

When to submit your request?
Call the Ontario One Call Utility notification service or complete an Ontario One Call e-Ticket at least one week before you dig at www.on1call.com or toll-free at 1-800-400-2255 or by fax at 1-800-400-8876 (THIS SERVICE IS AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK).
