- The applicant submits the Connection Review Application form
(Appendix 2).
- HHH completes the "Generator Pre-FIT Request for Information" form and returns to applicant for their OPA application.
- Applicant applies to OPA. Once OPA issues contract to applicant once TAT and DAT have been passed.
- The applicant contacts HHH.
- HHH requests Generator Connection Assessment Review (Appendix 4) forms and related information (equipment specifications and certifications, site plan drawing, and SLD). Submitted information must be signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer.
- HHH and the applicant meet to discuss the project.
- HHH/ applicant enter into a study agreement.
- HHH performs a Connection Impact Assessment (CIA) and if required involves any upstream LDC's who may need to do a CIA. Impact assessments may take up to 60-90 business days to complete depending on the circumstances as regulated by the OEB.

- HHH develops a Connection Cost Estimate.
- HHH provides CIA along with Connection Cost Agreement, Offer to Connect, and a Connection Agreement to the applicant.
- Applicant signs and returns Connection Cost Agreement
- HHH performs work required on our part to accommodate the connection. Applicant installs their generation and related equipment*.
- Applicant performs commissioning tests per CSA C22.3 No. 9-08, IEEE 1547, and completes HHH's "Commissioning and Equipment Verification Report" and provides the report along with any of their own commissioning tests to HHH.
- Applicant receives ESA Connection Authorization and forwards a copy of it along with their signed Connection Agreement to HHH.
- Once HHH is satisfied all requirements are met, HHH and applicant will set a date for connection.
- Connection is made. HHH updates internal files and notifies OPA of connection.
