We offer a number of options to assist our customers in paying their bills.
If you are having difficulty paying your bill, please call us at 519-853-3701 to make payment arrangements.
We offer an equal payment plan that smooths out your monthly payments so you know how much you’ll be paying each month.
Our Payment Assistance programs include:
LEAP – Low-income Energy Assistance Program
The LEAP program provides Emergency Financial Assistance as well as Special Rules for arrears payments.
Emergency Financial Assistance: This program provides a one-time grant towards your electricity bill if you are temporarily unable to make payment in an emergency situation.
Special Rules: if your local social agency determines that you meet the requirements, special rules around repayment of overdue amounts will apply.

OESP – Ontario Electricity Support Program
If you are a customer of an electricity utility and in a lower-income home, you may qualify for a reduction on your electricity bill through the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP).
The amount you may be eligible to receive depends on your household income and the number of people in your home. If your home is electrically heated or you rely on certain medical devices, you may be eligible for a higher level of assistance.

The Affordability fund is available to assist all customers pay for energy-efficiency improvements in their homes, which will help reduce electricity bills. To find out what you qualify for, from FREE ENERGY STAR® light bulbs, a power bar and/or faucet aerators to ENERGY STAR® appliances and home energy plans and upgrades, enroll online at: AffordabilityFund.org.
In light of the impact of COVID-19 on many of our customers, we have temporarily suspended disconnecting customers for non-payment until July 31, 2020. This includes residential and low volume, small commercial customers.
