Power restoration continuing
Outages will continue for extended time
To: Halton Hills Hydro Customers
We are continuing to deal with extensive power outages throughout our service territory.
Our crews are working diligently to clear trees and branches off our lines. However, as the freezing temperatures continue and winds have increased new problems are being reported as more ice covered trees and branches are falling. This is complicating our efforts to restore power.
Unfortunately, thousands of customers are still without power. If you do not have power now, please prepare for a night without electricity. Halton Hills Hydro will continue to provide updates through our website and social media as the situation evolves.
Halton Region has opened warming centres at the following locations:
Acton Fire Hall: 21 Churchill Road South, Acton
Gellert Community Centre: 10241 Eight Line, Georgetown
Georgetown Police Station: 217 Guelph Street, Georgetown
I want to thank all customers for their continued patience and understanding during these difficult circumstances. Our priority is to return service as quickly as possible, while ensuring the safety of our crews and our customers.
Please stay away and report any down power lines.
